Dr. Trupiano worked as a researcher at the Università degli Studi of Milan, after that at the ENI Group and, for the following three years, at ltalfarmaco SpA. In 1991 she joined the IP firm “Brevetti Europa” in Milan. In 2001, following the merger between the two companies “Marietti e Gislon” and “Brevetti Europa”, she entered as a partner in the new company “Marietti, Gislon e Trupiano”. Lecturer of Industrial Property for the Master in IP Law courses at the Universita’ degli Studi of Milan, she conducts numerous IP law courses both at public institutions such as the Chambers of Commerce, and at private companies. She is also a Chemistry teacher at the “Nuovo Liceo Artistico” of Milan.

Dr. Trupiano has been in the Industrial Property area with the emphasis on Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Sequence Listing, Protection of Plant Varieties for more than 20 years. She is actively involved in the evaluation of the patentability of inventions, the drafting and prosecution of both domestic and foreign patent applications, the drafting of FTO (Freedom to Operate), and the assessment of the issues relating to the freedom of implementation. She works autonomously and coordinates works for the fresh graduates at Marietti Gislon e Trupiano Srl, as well as cooperates in the technical and managerial team activities of the company.

She actively cooperates, for the part concerning her technical competence, with the IP firm Torner, Juncosa i Associats of Barcelona in Spain.

She is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish.
